  • Plan weekly menus that reflect seasonal availability and dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free, toddler-friendly)

  • Plate and clean up after meals, set and bus table as needed

Sourcing & Inventory

  • Source premium, organic, seasonal ingredients—locally whenever possible

  • Maintain relationships with farms, markets, and specialty purveyors

  • Manage weekly shopping, inventory rotation, and pantry/fridge cleanliness

Kitchen Operations

  • Care for high-quality tools, cookware, and appliances

  • Ensure all food safety, allergen-prevention, and health standards are met

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a solo kitchen and creating family-style menus

  • Familiarity with gluten-free, dairy-free, and whole food nutrition

Culinary Style:

  • Californian, Mediterranean, Italian, French, Vietnamese, or healthy American comfort cuisine

  • Ingredient-driven cooking that is clean, nourishing, and visually refined

Personal Qualities:

  • Honest, discreet, and highly organized

  • Able to work independently without daily oversight

  • Professional and calm, with a can-do attitude

  • Comfortable cooking for both adults and young children

  • Willing to travel and adapt to seasonal living (Charleston, CA, and farm stays)

Requirements:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $45–$60/hr depending on experience plus PTO and healthcare stipend
