Family in Montclair, NJ is looking for a nanny to start May or June 2024, at this time the family has a 3.5 year-old girl and baby boy who will be 3 months old. This family is at the same Nanny for the past 3.5 years and they want somebody who can be just like family. They are great employers and have a profound respect for those caring for their children when they cannot. Excellent family to work for! The oldest is in school 8:30 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday and will be in a full day of camp during the summer. Therefore, the primary care is focused on the newborn (3 month-old) once Mom returns back to work at the end of July. That way you’ll have a month together to acclimate, learn from the other Nanny who is departing and make a seamless transition into the family. The family is really looking for somebody who is down to earth, passionate, about working with children, experience with newborn care, routines, schedules, and keeping things organized in a busy household with two working parents. Other duties include light housekeeping, pertaining to the children, their areas, laundry, etc. And preparing light meals and snacks as needed for the children. The candidate must be a driver and have a clear driving record and experience driving children. The parents travel a lot, so the candidate must be flexible and help family manage the household while both parents are traveling. Whether they can live in solo or work as a team player with another family member who lives in while you manage kids and keep the schedule consistent to what the children are used to when mom and dad are home. Monday-Friday 8am-6pm 50hrs per week - $35-40 per hour.
