We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term care of a prestigious private estate in Maui, Hawaii. This role requires a proactive, service-oriented leader with a deep understanding of luxury property maintenance, vendor management, and the exceptional attention to detail expected in ultra-high-net-worth households.

The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, takes pride in anticipating needs before they arise, and maintains the estate to five-star standards—inside and out.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Oversight & Maintenance

  • Lead all aspects of property management, ensuring the estate remains immaculate, secure, and fully operational at all times.

  • Monitor and maintain major systems, including HVAC, pools, irrigation, plumbing, electrical, IT, and more.

  • Oversee regular maintenance schedules and inspections, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

  • Manage third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring timely, high-quality work and compliance with service agreements.

  • Ensure the estate is always guest-ready, with flawless presentation and functioning infrastructure.

Leadership & Staffing

  • Supervise house staff and coordinate their daily activities to ensure seamless operations.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of domestic team members as needed.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and professionalism among all personnel.

Operations & Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the estate and the Vice President of Operations.

  • Track maintenance tasks, household inventories, and property logs with precision.

  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times when interacting with the property owner and their guests.

  • Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and executives to ensure operational clarity and continuity.

Service & Hospitality

  • Anticipate the needs of the Owner and guests to create a flawless living experience.

  • Ensure every detail of the property reflects the highest standards of luxury, cleanliness, and efficiency.

  • Expedite repairs and follow through on all service requests with urgency and professionalism.

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience managing a high-end private estate, luxury hotel, or private yacht.

  • Strong working knowledge of home systems (electrical, HVAC, AV/IT, landscaping, pool care).

  • Hands-on capabilities with minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and household logistics.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and emotional intelligence.

  • Proficiency with digital tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.

  • Ability to lift 25–30 pounds and perform physical tasks when needed.

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

  • Valid Hawaii driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S.


Schedule & Compensation:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Maui, HI. Flexibility is required, including some weekends and holidays based on the Owner’s schedule and estate needs. A competitive compensation package is offered, commensurate with experience and performance.
