We are a family of five looking for an able-bodied and multi-talented Full-Time Houseman for our Aspen, Colorado home. You will be responsible for overseeing everything and everyone as it relates to the care, cleaning, and maintenance of our generous 15,000+ sq. ft. mountain home. If you are an outdoorsman at heart, someone who thrives outside versus a corporate setting, and who has excellent communication skills, this is a dream position.
You’ll need a thorough knowledge of machinery and maintenance tools, an eye for landscaping needs, and general housekeeping skills as you will be assisting our housekeeping staff and/or food and beverage staff from time to time. You’ll be best served if you come equipped with an understanding of the various needs each season in Colorado brings with it, most notably the severity of the winters and the care and provisions that must be made to protect the home and yard. You will be responsible for interacting with repair personnel, vendors, and landscape crews to ensure agreements and terms are fully honored and everything remains in good working order.
While we travel it is important to us that both the interior and exterior of the home and the grounds always remain clean and well-maintained in the event of guests and/or our family’s change of plans. Understandably, privacy is tremendously important to us, so your discretion on all things family is very important and we will ask for your signature on a confidentiality, arbitration agreements and background check.
