Job Details
We are seeking on behalf of our client located in Kenwood, a long-term Nanny starting mid-July. This will be a sole charge childcare position for a then 10-month-old boy. Responsibilities will include engaging the child in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development, while following a consistent daily routine and schedule. A daily nanny journal must be maintained to document meals, activities, milestones, and any relevant observations. The nanny will also be responsible for researching and taking the child to local age-appropriate classes and outings to encourage learning and social interaction. Additional duties include managing the child’s laundry, as well as performing light housekeeping related to the child’s care, including tidying play areas and cleaning bottles and nursery spaces. No travel is required. Pets: 1 dog. No pet care is required. A vehicle is provided for use during work hours.
Requirements
The candidate will have a minimum of five years of nanny experience which must include recent infant care, college degree, agreeable to annual flu vaccine, CPR and First Aid certified, enjoy being outdoors and active in all seasons, clear driving history and excellent childcare references.
