Job Description: Live-In Bi-Lingual ROTA Nanny

Location: Manalapan, Florida

Schedule: ROTA 4 days on 4 days off

Travel: Domestic and International Travel a MUST

Compensation: Compensation BOE, Full Corporate Benefits

 

Family seeking an individual to be a mature, experienced, and responsible Nanny (who can speak English and Spanish) for children 2 y/o and 6-month-old. This individual should plan to provide outstanding care for the 2 children alongside the children’s mother and one other nanny. The ideal candidate should handle the daily care of children and have experience with infants. The position is live-in and fast-paced. Must be able to work with both ages of children and go between the two different ages as needed.

Expectations 

  • Must be able to work discreetly and closely with high-net-worth family and staff of estate, managers, and other caretakers
  • Prepare and accompany children for travel 
  • Travel with the family will be an expectation- both domestically and internationally on a weekly/monthly basis 
  • Ensure safety and supervision of children 
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and social etiquette skills 
  • Adaptable to standards and desires of the family – adhering to parent philosophy 
  • Have a warm, caring, and nurturing attitude towards children 

Daily Tasks - including but not limited to: 

  • Arrange playdates 
  • Attend outings and lessons 
  • Keep personal quarters clean 
  • Assist with special events such as birthday parties 
  • Meeting the child's social, emotional, and physical needs
  • Providing age-appropriate activities
  • Dressing the children
  • Bathing the children
  • Assisting with self-care and hygiene
  • Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles
  • Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors
  • Maintaining organization of the children's wardrobe and toy collection
  • Reading to the children
  • Running errands/ shopping for the children
  • Singing nursey rhymes to the children
  • Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility
  • Taking the children on age-appropriate outings
  • Transporting the child to and from activities and appointments
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Cook for children if needed if Chef is away– staying current on nutritional health information and providing healthy snacks 

Requirements 

  • Excellent references from prior employers
  • Must be bi-ligual (English and Spanish)
  • Experience with infants
  • Must be able to keep up with a travel schedule and fast-paced environment
  • Should be able to swim and part take in physical activity with the children when needed
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to pass a background check 
  • CPR and First Aid Certified 
  • Must have a warm and caring – experience with multiple children is a plus
  • Friendly, intelligent, professional
  • Organized and keen eye for details
  • Service heart, to step in and assist with tasks/projects as needed (especially during down time)
  • Somebody that can take direction but also be a step or two ahead to ensure the care of the children and family needs are met
  • Must be punctual
  • Capable, self-confident, proactive
  • Very good communicator, both written and verbal
  • Ability to adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances
