We are seeking a highly skilled, Michelin-rated private chef (M/F) to provide world-class culinary experiences for a nice family in Miami.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary expertise, a refined understanding of international and contemporary cuisine, and a commitment to excellence. Discretion, professionalism, and creativity are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Customized Menu Planning:

  • Design personalized menus based on client preferences, dietary restrictions, and event themes.
  • Incorporate seasonal, locally sourced, and premium ingredients. 

Meal Preparation and Presentation:

  • Prepare daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, with a focus on impeccable taste and healthy low-calorie meals.
  • Handle private events, dinners, and parties with creativity and attention to detail.

Sourcing and Inventory Management:

  • Select and purchase high-quality ingredients from trusted suppliers.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste. 

Culinary Trends and Techniques:

  • Stay updated on global culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menus.
  • Deliver experiences that reflect Michelin-level artistry and precision.

 Kitchen Hygiene and Maintenance:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.

Client Interaction and Discretion:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while respecting their privacy.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes and requests with grace and efficiency.

Requirements

Michelin-rated experience:

(Must have at least two years at one restaurant or place of last employment) Proven track record in Michelin-starred kitchens or equivalent high-end culinary environments.

Culinary Education:

Formal culinary training from a reputable institution is preferred. 

Skills:

  • Mastery in a range of cuisines (e.g., French, Mediterranean, Asian, fusion).
  • Expertise in dietary accommodations, such as gluten-free, vegan, or low-carb.
  • Strong plating and presentation abilities.

Soft Skills:

  • Discreet, professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Work conditions

  • Title of the position: Private Chef (M/F).
  • Position to be filled: ASAP.
  • Workplace: Miami, FL.
  • Employment contract: Permanent, Long-term.
  • Flexible/open working hours and schedule: Tuesday-Saturday preferred, some weeks Monday-Friday. You will know your weekly schedule in advance to plan your days off.

Salary

$120000-$140000, depends on experience - Includes benefits, medical, vacation and bonus based on work performance.
