Noe Valley Family in SF Seeks 20 Hour Family Assistant

We are representing a busy family of 5 plus their beloved dog in the Noe Valley neighborhood of SF. They are seeking an afternoon family assistant to help with light cleaning, school pick up and supervising kids afterschool. The children are 13, 11 and 9 years old. The ideal candidate has a kind and easy going personality and can bring structure and organization to the household. Someone who can communicate with children on their level. Although this is a structured role, flexibility is appreciated.

Experience Requirements

3 or more years working as a family assistant
Excellent driver

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

*Must have own car for use (reimburse for mileage)
*Must live close by SF

Responsibilities

• Light cleaning in between cleaners who come bi-weekly
• Organizing and putting together a schedule for grocery shopping, laundry etc
• Grocery shopping, meal prep/support
• Feed dog
• Help to manage kids when they are at home and keep them on track, like
  Homework supervision
• Helping kids to clean up after themselves
• Encouraging them to stay off their technology and finish homework or read a book
• Helping them eat healthy snacks
• Family laundry
• Other household chores (like going to the post office, picking up/dropping off dry cleaning, etc)
