Position Title: Private Chef
Location: Naples, FL (Live-Out Required; Travel to Idaho & Nantucket with Provided Housing)
Start Date: April 2025
Schedule: Typically Monday–Friday / 8:30am – 7:30pm with a one hour lunch / an additional two Saturdays per month
Overview:
A well-established, health-conscious household is looking for an experienced Private Chef to join their team. This full-time role is based in Naples, FL, where the candidate must have their own residence. The role involves travel to homes in Idaho and Nantucket, where housing will be provided.
Household Profile:
- Primary residence in Naples, FL, just a minute’s walk from the beach
- Additional homes in Idaho and Nantucket
- Two miniature Schnauzers
- A clean, organized, and stylish environment that reflects the unique vibe of each location
- High emphasis on nutrition, personal fitness, and health
- A dynamic lifestyle with frequent travel for business
- Household consists of a Husband and Wife
- The couple typically hosts one – two dinners parties per month, 6-10 people, total
- Typical meals are prepared for 2 – 4 people, for daily guests
- Occasional parties may have guests exceeding 20
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily: Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and requested snacks, 5-6 days per week (with occasional adjustments as needed)
- Weekly: Prepare additional meals for weekends / days when the Chef is not present
- Design weekly menus that cater to specialized diets including Keto/Low Carb and their preferred Mediterranean cuisine
- Manage all aspects of meal preparation, including grocery shopping and ingredient sourcing
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and collaborate with the housekeeper for smooth operations
- Travel to the Idaho and Nantucket homes (with housing provided during those stays)
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience working as a private chef, especially for high-net-worth clients
- In-depth knowledge of nutritional and specialty diets
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Adaptable, discreet, and reliable
- Comfortable working with a team of household staff
- Must live out in Naples, FL (own residence required)
- Valid driver’s license (a vehicle is provided during work hours)
- Open to relocation candidates
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses

- Major holidays are workdays, arrangements for alternate days/time off will be made
Travel Schedule:
- 6 months annually in Naples, FL
- 3 months in Idaho
- 3 months in Nantucket
- Business travel occurs once per month – family/business travel days are considered off days, and the Chef is expected to work non-travel days during travel weeks
- Chef may travel occasionally with the family outside of these three locations
Required Qualifications:
Age:
Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Experience:
Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred.
Driving Record:
A driver’s license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement.
Criminal Background:
A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement.
Residency Requirement:
All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
Commitment:
Typically, candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Occasionally, temporary and summer placements are requested.
