Job Summary
The Personal Assistant will play a key role in supporting a principal by managing their home and lifestyle needs in Aspen, Colorado. This hands-on role involves ensuring the residence is always guest-ready, handling day-to-day errands and being resource to support needs as they arise. The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage last-minute requests with ease.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the main point of contact for household vendors, contractors, and staff, ensuring services meet the highest standards.
  • Oversee all aspects of household operations, including maintenance, repairs, seasonal preparation (e.g., winterizing), and vendor coordination, maintaining a proactive and anticipatory approach.
  • Ensure the home is always guest-ready, coordinating cleaning and upkeep as needed.
  • Deliver high-level concierge services, including arranging reservations, coordinating personal appointments, and managing unique requests to ensure the principal’s needs and preferences are seamlessly met.
  • Anticipate and fulfill household needs, ensuring the principal's comfort and convenience.
  • Coordinate with local vendors and services to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Keep track of household inventory and proactively restock supplies as needed.
  • Assist with organizing and executing small gatherings or events at the residence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant and in managing household operations, including vendor coordination, maintenance, and scheduling.
  • A proactive and resourceful attitude, with a knack for finding solutions to unexpected challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Flexibility to manage last-minute changes and prioritize competing demands.
  • Experience in a similar personal assistant, household management, or concierge-style role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Aspen area and local vendors/services is a bonus but not required.
  • A positive, can-do mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the principal’s needs are met.

Work Environment

This role is based in Aspen, Colorado, with a mix of in-person and remote responsibilities depending on the principal’s location. The Personal Assistant must be comfortable handling household tasks independently, ensuring the home runs smoothly at all times, and adapting to seasonal and daily needs.
