Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a professional family style residence located in (Chelsea) Manhattan, NY and the western part of the Hamptons. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to travel to another residences in Scottsdale, AZ.  Ideal candidate will be a self-starter; service oriented with a team player style having previous experience in a private residence. Applicants should be flexible with schedules, have excellent organizational skills, experience in laundry and housekeeping while maintain high standards and efficiency. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform meticulous housekeeping across multiple properties to maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization with many fine finishes and furnishings.
• Perform daily housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general tidying up.
• Deep cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
• Manage laundry duties, change bed linens, and make beds, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and wardrobe organization.
• Ensure a clean, comfortable, organized, and inviting atmosphere always.
• Liaise with housekeeping staff and estate management to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Precise reporting of maintenance issues-broken appliances, issues with the home etc.
• Wardrobe care, laundry including ironing and schedule of outgoing and incoming dry cleaning.
• Organizing and maintaining of wardrobes & closets with seasons and meticulous care
• Assisting with household inventories for pantries.
• Excellent communication skills required for taking of messages, answering phone and door for greeting of guests and visitors.
• Errands and shopping as required to stock house and for personal items of principals.
• Pet care for daily food, water and walks as needed.
• Casual meal service, setting table and clean up
• Elegant table setting working with chef for style of service and executing high level of service.

Applicant Qualities:

• Must have 5 to 7+ years of previous experience working in a formal style of residence.
• Strong understanding of verbal and written English
• Must be team oriented and interact well with other staff
• Excellent housekeeping skills and care of fine furnishings is a must to maintain high standards of residence.
• Must be accommodating and flexible with work schedules.
• Applicants must be service oriented with good communication skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task with excellent time management. 
• Applicants must be self-starters with attention to detail for follow through for start to finish on projects.
• Individual must have a polished and well groomed professional appearance.
• Must exercise complete discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Must be eligible to work in The United States.

Salary will be dependent on previous experience and employment.
