Title: Live-In Rota Nanny
Location: Downtown Manhattan (with summers in the Hamptons)
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Compensation: $50 per hour (no benefits)
 
Overview
A prominent family in downtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced, professional Live-In Rota Nanny to provide exceptional care for their three children, aged 8 months to 6 years old. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, flexible, and nurturing, with expertise in infant and early childhood development. This position offers a rotating schedule of one week on, one week off, and requires relocation to the Hamptons during the summer months.
Key Responsibilities

1. Primary Care:
• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care with a primary focus on the 8-month-old baby.
• Meet the individual needs of all three children, including feeding, dressing, bathing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
2. Educational and Recreational Activities:
• Plan and implement stimulating activities to encourage physical, cognitive, and social development.
• Engage the children in outdoor play, sports, and creative activities, fostering an energetic and healthy lifestyle.
3. Household Responsibilities for Children:
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for the children.
• Ensure children's spaces are tidy and organized, including their rooms, play areas, and laundry.
4. Medical Support:
• Administer medication via syringe for one child with a medical condition, following the family’s precise instructions and schedule.
5. Summer Relocation:
• Relocate with the family to the Hamptons during the summer months, adapting to a new environment and routine.
6. Driving and Swimming:
• Safely transport children to activities and appointments as needed (car provided by family in the Hamptons)
• Supervise and participate in swimming activities to ensure safety and enjoyment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience with infants, toddlers, and young children.
• Certifications:
• CPR and First Aid certification (infant and child).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Skills:
• Strong swimmer with confidence supervising children in water.
• Proficient in preparing healthy meals for children.
• Organized, energetic, and resourceful with a positive attitude.
• Attributes:
• Athletic and active, able to keep up with busy schedules and energetic children.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic household.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to live on-site during the scheduled week on-duty, including summer months in the Hamptons
• Fully vaccinated against common childhood illnesses, including COVID-19 and influenza
• Authorized to work in the United States
