Full-time Live-in Caregiver (M/F) job offer in Bath, North Carolina, US

Our distinguished client, a couple residing in a private home in Bath, North Carolina, United States, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide comprehensive support and companionship, with a primary focus on mobility assistance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private caregiving, including mobility support, driving, and running errands. A willingness to travel domestically with the client is essential, as is the ability to adapt to the changing rhythms and routines of the household. While not required, basic cooking skills are considered a plus. This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate and proactive caregiver who thrives in a private home environment and is looking to build a long-term relationship with a respectful and appreciative household.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mobility support, including hands-on assistance with walking, standing, or in the event of a fall.
  • Safely transport the client to and from medical appointments and personal care visits twice per week; a vehicle will be provided for all driving-related duties.
  • Experience in caregiving, especially in private household or senior care settings, strongly preferred.
  • Assist with meal preparation, helping to cook simple, healthy meals or support food planning as requested.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically with the client as needed.
  • Run local errands as needed, including picking up prescriptions, grocery shopping, and handling other household-related tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times within the household.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Caregiver in a private household.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with others.
  • High level of integrity, maintaining professionalism an confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Physically capable of assisting with mobility support.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically with the client as needed.
