Under Butler/Houseman Position for an Ultra-High-Net-Worth Family – Jupiter, Florida

An active and busy family in Jupiter Island, Florida seeks a highly experienced and dedicated Under Butler / Houseman to work with their staff. May be required to come to New Jersey periodically during the summer season to assist with family.

They seek someone who can provide high-level service and support in various household operations.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Overseeing daily household activities and ensuring everything runs efficiently.
• Managing household supplies, inventory, and organization.
• Coordinating with other staff members to maintain a well-structured environment.
• High-End Formal Service: Deliver impeccable service for formal
  dining occasions, including setting tables, arranging place settings,
  and serving gourmet food and beverages. Maintain the highest
  standards of elegance and sophistication.
• Event Planning and Execution: Assist with formal dinner parties
  with exceptional attention to detail to ensure memorable
  experiences.
• Vendor Relations and Procurement: Assist with vendors and
  suppliers to secure top-quality goods and services at optimal
  prices. Manage inventory to meet household needs effectively.
• Guest Services: Welcome guests, introduce them to the home’s
  amenities, and ensure a tailored experience throughout their stay.
• Pet Care: Feeding, walking and scheduling grooming
  appointments and vet care. Caring for dogs when the principal is not
  in residence.
• Laundry and Wardrobe Management: Assist with laundry,
  ironing, steaming, packing and dry cleaning management, adapting
  to specific needs of each home.
• Floral Arrangements: Create and manage elegant floral
  arrangements to enhance the aesthetic appeal of dining and home
  environments.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Assist to maintain organized kitchens and
  kitchen equipment.
• Security and Emergency Response: Monitor security systems
  and be available for emergencies.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular and deep cleaning
  tasks, minor repairs.
• Errands and Personal Shopping: Assist with household
  shopping.
• Transportation and Scheduling: Collaborate with Family
  Assistant, Yacht Captains, and Pilots to ensure seamless travel
  arrangements for the principal. Oversee the scheduling of drivers
  and provide transportation for the principal as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury estate household.
• Demonstrate skills in high-end formal service.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Extensive knowledge of formal service, floral arrangements, and meticulous wardrobe management.
• Proficiency with relevant software and technology.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including cleaning, lifting, and extended periods of standing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
