Full-Time Nanny – Central Austin (Zilker Park Area)
Our family is seeking a full-time nanny to join our household and provide attentive, loving care for our 6.5-month-old daughter.
We are located in Central Austin near Zilker Park. This is a long-term role suited for a candidate with a background in private family service and significant experience in infant care. We are seeking someone who wishes to grow with our family and make a multi-year commitment.
Primary Childcare Duties
• Bottle preparation and feeding; preparing baby food as requested• Diapering and maintaining nap/sleep routines • Engaging the baby in age-appropriate play and developmental activities • Walks in stroller with parental approval • Maintaining safe, clean, and organized baby spaces • Adhering to family rules: no screens for the baby, no kissing, and no sharing food or drinks
Light Household Duties
• Tidying and organizing baby areas • Baby laundry and linens • Bottle washing and sanitization • Light daily upkeep to maintain a clean environment
Professional Standards
• Follow all parental instructions precisely; communicate proactively • Notify family of any absence prior to the scheduled shift • Present a polished, professional image: clean attire (pants required), hair tied back, nails short and natural, no artificial nails, no perfumes or strong scents • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters • Report any accidents, injuries, or unusual incidents immediately
Qualifications
• Reference-checkable 3–5 years’ experience as a Nanny in HNW or luxury household settings • Candidates based in Austin preferred • Formal childcare training or certification preferred • Discreet and trustworthy individual with a polished presentation • Knowledge of child development stages and ability to plan educational activities • CPR and First Aid certified • Up-to-date on vaccinations • Non-smoker • Comfortable with dogs (small husky in the home) • Valid US passport preferred to allow for domestic and international travel with the family • Strong references from prior long-term employers • Interest in a multi-year position with opportunity to become an integral part of the household.
