Household:

• A wonderful and easy-going family in Playa Vista (Los Angeles/LAX area) is looking for a full-time nanny to start as soon as possible for their adorable 2-month-old baby and 2.5 year old child.
• The 2.5-year-old attends part-time school, and the family has a gentle and friendly dog, requiring a pet-friendly nanny.
• Mom is currently on maternity leave and will work from home upon her return, while dad works outside the home most days.
• The family seeks a long-term nanny who will become an integral part of their family team.

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is calm-natured, warm, experienced, with confidence in caring for infants and preschool-age children.
• The family values a nanny who can share their expertise and guide them through various milestones and stages, incorporating developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a schedule.
• Someone with a true affinity for infants and the preschool ages, who can incorporate developmentally appropriate activities and also keep their little ones on a schedule is important to them. 

Duties:

• Duties include everything infant care related, planning at-home activities, going on walks, driving to outings, meal preparation, children’s laundry, and light tidying up and organization related to the children.

Requirements: 

• At least 5 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for friends or family) with excellent references
• Recent experience caring for newborns/infants and caring for siblings
• Current on standard vaccines such as the Covid vaccine and boosted, Tdap, MMR, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong driving record
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• Can make at least a one-year commitment
• English fluency
