A high-net-worth family based in Austin is seeking a highly capable and hands-on property operations professional to oversee a collection of high-end residential properties across the region. This role requires a proactive problem solver with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple properties and service providers with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized and updated property management trackers and task lists for each location

  • Coordinate all vendor services (HVAC, plumbing, inspections, general maintenance, etc.) and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard

  • Keep both digital and physical property documentation in impeccable order to support accounting and tax-related processes

  • Develop and regularly update a central “dashboard” of tasks, deadlines, and upcoming needs, with consistent communication to the client

  • Collaborate with other staff (including an estate assistant and house manager) to streamline operations and divide responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and preparing documentation for tax filing and occasional transactional support (e.g., property purchases or sales)

  • Provide oversight or assist with the construction of the new short-term rental as an extra set of eyes on build quality

  • May be asked to support other ad hoc projects or initiatives related to real estate or lifestyle management

  • Future growth of the role may include expanded responsibilities in property or business management, depending on interest and performance

  • Some performance-based compensation tied to real estate outcomes may be considered
