Live-In Property Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live-In Property Manager to oversee and maintain a large estate located in Sun Valley, Idaho. This unique opportunity offers a competitive salary and includes a provided tiny house on the property. The property owners visit a few times a year, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the estate is maintained to the highest standards during their absence.

Responsibilities:

As a Live-In Property Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Property Maintenance: Take a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of the estate, including regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
2. Landscaping: Oversee the landscaping of the property, including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and irrigation system maintenance.
3. Pool Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of the pool and spa, including water quality, cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
4. HVAC and Home Systems: Monitor and maintain the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and other home systems to ensure optimal performance.
5. Smart Home Technology: Manage and troubleshoot the estate's smart home technology systems.
6. Security: Ensure the security and safety of the property, including alarm systems and surveillance cameras.
7. Supervision: Oversee any contractors or service providers hired for specific tasks on the property.
8. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the property owners, reporting on the status of the estate regularly.
9. Budget Management: Assist in creating and managing the property's budget for maintenance and improvements.
10. Emergency Response: Be available for emergency situations and respond promptly to any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

2. Excellent Communication: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills for regular updates to property owners.
3. Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge and experience in pool maintenance, landscaping, HVAC systems, and smart home technology.
4. Hands-On: Willingness to perform physical tasks related to property maintenance and supervision of contractors.
5. Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities and a willingness to be on-call for emergencies.
6. Reliability: Maintain a high level of reliability and trustworthiness in all aspects of the role.
