A private family in the Boston/Plymouth area is seeking a seasoned Senior Estate Manager to oversee the seamless operation and maintenance of multiple high-end residences. This individual will serve as the right hand to the principal family, ensuring excellence in estate operations, staff management, vendor coordination, and property standards across multiple homes. The ideal candidate brings discretion, deep experience with UHNW households, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. This is a hands-on role requiring regular travel between properties, with a new Florida residence being added to the roster in Fall 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of multiple luxury homes across Massachusetts (Boston, Plymouth) and, in the near future, Florida

  • Manage, hire, and supervise household staff including housekeepers, chefs, drivers, and groundskeepers

  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and designers for ongoing renovations and upcoming new construction projects

  • Implement and maintain household systems, manuals, SOPs, and security protocols

  • Maintain all vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts

  • Ensure all properties are guest-ready at all times, including overseeing provisioning, hospitality, and smart home systems

  • Monitor and manage household budgets and approve invoices

  • Oversee seasonal property openings/closings and ensure proper care for landscaping, pools, and recreational equipment

  • Coordinate travel logistics for principals and liaise with private security or travel teams as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10–15 years experience managing multiple UHNW properties

  • Deep knowledge of household systems (HVAC, security, smart home tech, etc.)

  • Experience managing large household staffs and overseeing high-volume operations

  • Strong project management experience, particularly with construction or new builds

  • Highly discreet, trustworthy, and flexible with travel

  • Driver’s license and ability to travel frequently between properties

Schedule:
Full-time with flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel as needed

Compensation:
$250,000–$350,000 annually, depending on experience

Location:
Primary base in Boston, MA with regional travel required
