Housekeeper / Laundress – Full-Time

Location: New York/ west village(only local candidates) 

Schedule: Start 12pm or 8am, 5 days a week 

An ultra-high net worth family is seeking a professional, experienced, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Laundress to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and wardrobe care within a private household. The ideal candidate is reliable, discreet, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Housekeeping Duties:

• Daily deep and surface cleaning of all areas of the home
• Organizing all household spaces for maximum efficiency and tidiness
• Careful handling of high-end furnishings and finishes
• Creating and maintaining household supply inventories
• Overseeing and restocking amenities and household items
• Maintaining logs and lists for household and principal’s items
• Clean kitchen and stove 

Wardrobe & Laundry Management:

• Expert laundering, ironing, steaming, folding, and stain removal
• Seasonal wardrobe rotation (summer/winter), proper storage, and seizing items to be moved up/down
• Packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring all garments and personal items are organized and accounted for
• Detailed garment care for luxury and delicate clothing
• Meticulous handling and changing of bedsheets and linens

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in a UHNW or formal household
• Strong understanding of wardrobe care, garment handling, and cleaning techniques
• Extremely organized with a high attention to detail
• Discreet and respectful of privacy at all times
• Strong work ethic with a “yes, I can” attitude
• Ability to take direction and also work independently
• Genuine service-oriented mindset and pride in maintaining an immaculate home
