A young entrepreneurial household (with demanding careers) is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff/Director of Residences to oversee their growing portfolio of luxury properties in Los Angeles, Colorado, Las Vegas, San Francisco, London, and France. The ideal candidate will be a highly competent, dynamic professional who can seamlessly manage all aspects of these residences with full autonomy while the principals focus on their careers. This role requires someone who can transform beautiful houses into functioning homes, ensuring that when principals arrive at any property, everything is operational and welcoming. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, vacation time, and performance bonuses, with travel between properties being a significant component of the role. Households span sizes from 3kft2 to 15kft2. Please be local to the Los Angeles Area as this is their home base and would like to find a local candidate to help get things rolling from there.
Required Skills:
Responsibilities include comprehensive property management across multiple international locations, from ordering furnishings to hiring and supervising household staff, overseeing bill payments, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships. The successful candidate must possess at least 10 years of relevant experience, with international experience (particularly in Europe) being highly valued. They should have an impressive network of trusted vendors, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to create and maintain detailed property manuals and preparation lists. A creative mindset with an appreciation for eclectic, fun environments is desired, along with calendar management skills and an eye for interior design. Language skills (Spanish or French) are beneficial but not required. Most importantly, the candidate must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of anticipating needs across multiple properties while serving as the primary point of contact for all household matters, creating seamless living experiences for the principals regardless of which residence they choose to visit.
