Description

Our client based near Manhattan Beach is looking for a full-time Personal Assistant to work a hybrid schedule remote, on-site, and running errands. Must be local with a short commute. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and be capable of managing logistics effectively. 

 

The client is out of state for several months each year and requires someone to monitor the property and manage projects during their absence.

 

Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday with flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends depending on projects, events, and occasional travel. The position is 80% remote with frequent visits to the property and errands. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Calendar management and scheduling for the Mr., using Google Calendar. This includes providing reminders, managing time efficiently, and staying ahead by planning weeks or even months in advance to avoid schedule conflicts.
  • Draft emails and correspond professionally on the client's behalf, proactively finding solutions 
  • Be on top of all accounts and information 
  • Travel Coordination for both the Mr. and Mrs. 
  • Ability to make detailed itinerary for certain trips/travel
  • Assist with packing and preparing for trips 
  • Organizational projects within the household, including unpacking, packing, creating systems in the home, closets, garage 
  • Prepare the home for clients arrival; stock fridge, pantry, bathrooms, tidy up 
  • Take inventory 
  • Schedule for vehicle maintenance and any repairs 
  • Pick up car to get serviced, cleaned, detailed, filled up with gas up
  • Manage subscriptions and correspond on the client’s behalf 
  • Oversee current new build and construction at Manhattan Beach property; intermediate and update client 
  • Manage maintenance vendors for Hermosa Beach home where the client currently resides
  • Sourcing, vetting, and hiring household vendors for various projects and repairs 
  • Remotely manage staff who work at their residence out of state (chef, drivers, security personnel) 
  • Correspond with Business Manager regarding payments and accounts 
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to understand and operate security systems 
  • Event coordination 
  • Errands, including transport of items, purchases, donations, drycleaning, other
  • Light tidying around the home during busy times 
  • Assist with dog care 

 

Requirements: 

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle 
  • Strong professional communication skills 
  • Experience overseeing household vendors
  • Must be ok with dogs 
  • Verifiable references
