Join a Caring Family as an In-Home Caregiver for Our Loved One with Dementia (Houston, TX: River Oaks)
NIGHT SHIFT: Monday - Thursday (7PM – 7AM)
Are you a compassionate, skilled Certified Nursing Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Our family is in search of a dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team to support our 90-year-old father, a wonderful man who has dementia. We understand how valuable exceptional care is, and we want to find someone who will treat our loved one with the same kindness and respect we do.
As a vital member of our caregiving team, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for our father. In addition to providing hands-on patient care, you will administer any necessary medication or supplements as scheduled. Must be available throughout your shift to assist with any requests from the patient to ensure comfort and support. Your goal will be to help him enjoy life by performing daily functions such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and local transportation when needed. Your compassion and diligence will be essential to ensuring his well-being, comfort, and continuity of care.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of nursing experience
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (Texas)
- Technically savvy with texting, email, calendaring, word processing, and internet research etc.
- A warm, compassionate personality with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail
