Live-In Property Year-Round, Domestic Couple, Vero Beach, FL

Family in Vero Beach, Florida has an opening for an entry level domestic couple/property maintenance/caretaker. The home is a single family, 8k sq ft, seats on 1.5 acres, beachfront property.  This is a secondary residence and the family spends time between Florida and a residence in Santa-Fe, New Mexico. The duties require general cleaning, housekeeping, maintaining the property interior and exterior, occasional driving the home owners, groundskeeping, light maintenance and handyman duties, cooking for the family and assisting when the family entertains.   

Start Date: The position starts in the late fall October/November 2024

Live-In Accommodation – A brand new detached guest house on property.

Job Duties;

• Property caretaker and general maintenance of the residence
• Perform daily housekeeping and deep cleaning of all areas inside the home to include bathroom & kitchen cleaning, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, organizing closets, care for fine furnishes, polishing silvers etc.
• Laundry & Ironing of personal Laundry with care, pressing household linens, bedsheet, napkins, organizing wardrobe and linen closets.
• Cleaning of the outdoor, patio, performed heavy duty cleaning
• Upkeep and ground maintenance, pressure washing, light landscape
• Supervise contractors, landscape, pool, other contractors
• Light repairs, change light bulbs, change filters etc.
• Maintaining household equipment’s and appliances
• Clean and maintain family vehicle
• Run errands, grocery shopping
• Cooking for the family- light meal preparation, follow simple recipes
• All other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Entry level opportunity requiring five years’ experience or related skills
• Reference from previous employer
