A dynamic and fast-paced family in Austin is seeking a Family Coordinator to provide personalized care and household management. The family includes two adults, an elementary-aged child, and a sweet dog. The ideal candidate will have a background as an Executive Assistant or Household Manager and be tech-savvy, highly organized, and efficient in managing both family schedules and household operations.
The role includes detailed administrative duties and household management for the first part of the day, with the focus on driving the child and homework supervision for the latter part of the shift. The hired candidate will work closely with the family, vendors, and other staff. Ideal candidates are calm, efficient, and forward-thinking and thrive in a professional-style home environment.

Key Responsibilities
Household Management:
- Oversee daily operations of a 7,500 sq. ft. home.
- Vendor management: Liaise with designers, vendors, and contractors; resolve issues as they arise.
- Manage housekeeping staff: Supervise two part-time housekeepers, ensure cleaning schedules are followed, and inspect work.
- Schedule coordination: Handle all aspects of the family's schedule, including appointments, travel, and kids' activities. Must be proficient with (or willing to learn) The Hearth and Google Calendar to manage multiple schedules efficiently.
- Meal coordination: Work with the personal chef to ensure meal planning and execution are aligned with family needs.
- Medical appointments: Regularly schedule and manage medical appointments. Be proactive in managing time zones, ensuring no appointments are missed.
- Travel coordination: Manage family travel schedules, ensuring the child's school commitments are prioritized.
Family Assisting Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Provide light supervision to a 10-year-old child who does not require constant care but needs guidance and support for independent activities. Ensure the child is on track with daily routines, pick them up from school, and assist with any activities after school.
- Transportation: Transport the child to and from activities, medical appointments, and other events.
- Ensure autonomy: Remind the child to handle tasks independently. The family seeks a candidate who encourages independence and accountability.
- Some travel: Occasionally travel with the family to support the child's needs, such as attending important school events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Assistant, Household Manager, or in similar high-expectation environments. Nanny experience is not required but is a plus.
- Tech-savvy: Strong proficiency in The Hearth, Google Calendar, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office. Must be excited to work in a paper-free, tech-based environment.
- Scheduling: Must be exceptional at coordinating complex schedules with attention to detail, able to anticipate needs and plan ahead. Experience managing international time zones is a plus.
- Strong communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on being clear, concise, and proactive.
- Professional demeanor: Ability to work in a professional home with a calm, organized, and respectful approach.
- Driver: Must have a reliable car and be willing to drive the child to various activities.

- Dog Care: Light pet care is required for the family's mini golden doodle.
- Medical experience: Experience managing a medical schedule is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Occasional weekend work & evening work is required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $125,000-$140,000(DOE)
- Healthcare stipend
