This hybrid role combines teaching and light household/nanny responsibilities for two bright and curious children, ages 10 (G), 8 (G). Location: Concord, MA (with travel to Europe and Aspen, CO)
Start Date: September 4th, 2025 (family is traveling over the summer, so no earlier start date is possible)
Children: 10-year-old girl, 8-year-old girl
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00/8:30 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM, approximately 40 hours/week; at least 5 hours per day dedicated to academic teaching and 3+ hours for nannying/driving/light household management
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000+ annually
Benefits: 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, healthcare stipend if needed, 2–3 months of PTO per year, coordinated with family travel
Travel Requirements: The candidate will travel with the family January–May to Europe and/or Aspen, CO; domestic and international travel required throughout the year; valid passport required (or willingness to obtain quickly upon hire)
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and highly motivated, with a strong academic foundation in math and/or science. They should hold a relevant degree and have at least two years of professional teaching or tutoring experience. This person is flexible and warm, with the ability to guide children gently and effectively without being overly rigid. They should feel comfortable balancing academic instruction with light caregiving responsibilities and be confident working in a dynamic household that includes regular travel. Travel is required for this role and candidates who apply will only be considered if they are able to travel year-round with the family.
Primary Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum with an emphasis on math and science for the two older children

Incorporate educational goals while taking initiative and leading day-to-day academic instruction while collaborating with parents

Provide light care for their younger sibling (5-year-old boy) especially during travel periods

Basic driving for school or activities

Light meal prep in the afternoons

Collaborate with parents who work from home but remain hands-off during the school day
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Education, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred

Minimum of 2 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience (not accepting recent graduates)

Strong organizational skills and ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans

Comfortable with light childcare responsibilities and household support, including driving and meal prep

Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid passport for international and domestic travel year-round with the family
