Live-out Housekeeper (M/F) job offer in San Francisco Bay Area, California, US

We are seeking a Housekeeper for a family residing in the Bay Area, that is reliable, friendly and details orientated, to help maintain the home.

We value a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment and are looking for a long-term individual to become a valued part of our household.

Responsibilities

General Housekeeping: Perform thorough cleaning of all areas of the home, including but not limited to:

  • Dusting all surfaces.
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors).
  • Cleaning kitchens (countertops, stovetop, microwave, exterior of appliances).
  • Emptying trash and recycling bins.
  • Making beds and changing linens.

Laundry: Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry for the family.

Organization: Maintaining organization throughout the house, including tidying rooms and organizing closets and storage areas.

Occasional Tasks: May include occasional tasks such as:

  • Cleaning windows and mirrors.
  • Polishing furniture.
  • Watering indoor plants.
  • Light meal preparation (optional, to be discussed).
  • Running errands (optional, to be discussed).

Communication: Communicate effectively with the family regarding schedule, needs, and any issues.

Flexibility: Be flexible with scheduling and willing to adjust tasks as needed.

Maintaining Supplies: Inform the family when cleaning supplies are running low.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper, preferably in a private residence.
  • Excellent cleaning and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Trustworthiness and respect for privacy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred if errands are required).

Work conditions

  • A highly competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience and qualifications, will be offered, including comprehensive benefits.

  • Location: Bay Area, CA.
  • Work Schedule: Part-time to Full-time, 3-5 days per week (flexible schedule, to be discussed), permanent and long-term position.
