Prominent family requiring an experienced, engaged, Server to liaise with family and their Chef along with the team to serve meals, beverages, hors d’oeuvres. Welcome guests into the household and accommodate exiting guests as well. 

• Create a guest entry of the various favorites/preferences and be accommodating to the needs of a busy household. This is a 40 hour per week role with potential for overtime. 
• Perform inventory
• Prepare for events and meals; setting tables, creating ambiance
• Ensuring all items for entertaining are cared for; candelabras, candles, linens and items that make for both simple and elaborate settings
• Ensuring guest comfort, beverage service, wine knowledge. 
• All your experience and education within these areas is greatly appreciated; sommelier classes, event experience, top level service experience, concierge, too! The family is looking for a professional who is flexible, knows boundaries, exhibits confidentiality, knows how to engage guests and also when to recede into the background. 
• Must have a true service heart. If you have been in this capacity within a high-profile home whereby you have cultivated the necessary respected level of experience all the better.
