Our client, a loving family welcoming a newborn baby and seeking a warm, experienced, zen-like attitude, and reliable individual to join the team. Client is looking for someone who is passionate about childcare, enjoys cooking and meal preparation, and is happy to assist with everyday tasks related to the baby's care. They value open communication, a positive attitude, a proactive approach, and a zen-like personality.

This is a full-time, live-out position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend flexibility required. The primary focus of this role is the care of newborn baby. 

Responsibilities

Newborn Care:

  • All aspects of newborn care, including feeding (bottle feeding and potentially assisting with breastfeeding support), diaper changes, bathing, dressing, and soothing.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for the baby's development.
  • Engaging in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, playing, and singing.
  • Following the baby's schedule for naps, feedings, and playtime.
  • Maintaining a detailed log of the baby's daily activities, including feedings, diaper changes, naps, and any developmental milestones.
  • Sterilizing bottles and other baby-related items.
  • Administering medications as directed (if applicable).

 

Cooking & Meal Prep (focused on the baby and the family):

  • Preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the baby and family, as baby transitions to solids (following pediatrician recommendations).
  • Cooking and meal preparation for the family, such as preparing simple dinners or prepping ingredients for future meals.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Nanny, preferably with newborns.
  • Infant CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of newborn development and age-appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A positive, energetic, and patient demeanor.
  • A genuine love for children.
  • Comfortable with cooking and meal preparation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • References required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with breastfeeding support.
  • Knowledge of different parenting styles.
  • Background in early childhood education.
