Overview:

An UHNW client is seeking a professional Private Chef to prepare clean, high-quality, farm-to-table cuisine. This role requires extensive travel, primarily between La Jolla, CA, and New York, NY, with additional destinations as needed. The principal is extremely particular but highly respectful and appreciative of great talent. This chef must seamlessly move with her, be adaptable to her preferences, and maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create & execute daily menus focusing on fresh, clean, and organic farm-to-table cuisine.
• Travel extensively between La Jolla, New York, and other locations as needed, ensuring seamless culinary service across all residences.
• Source the best local, organic ingredients and maintain strict quality control.
• Work independently with no ego—this is about delivering excellence, not a specific cuisine style.
• Maintain an impeccably clean kitchen and adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols, may need to prepare meals on a private jet.
• Be flexible and adaptable—this is a demanding yet rewarding role for the right candidate.
• Work alongside security teams and understand discretion is paramount.
• Wear a professional chef uniform at all times while working.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a private chef for UHNW individuals with a strong culinary intuition.
• Farm-to-table expertise with an ability to source the best ingredients.
• Flawless presentation & professionalism—must be polished and understand the etiquette of working in a high-profile home.
• Extremely flexible and travel-ready—this role requires seamless movement with the principal.
• Able to handle feedback from a very particular client while remaining flexible and responsive.
• Understands discretion and privacy.
• Experience working with high-security households is a plus.
