Live-In Housekeeper to UHNW Family

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeper/Cook to support a private residence in East Hampton, NY, with occasional travel to other properties as needed. This candidate will maintain the home, provide culinary support, and assist with hosting and event preparations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in both housekeeping and meal preparation, ensuring the home is always guest-ready and running smoothly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-level housekeeping and/or cooking roles, preferably in private residences.
• Strong culinary skills, including the ability to prepare meals and bake bread.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage household inventory.
• Flexibility to assist with hosting, special events, and seasonal projects.
• Experience coordinating with household staff, external vendors, and contractors.
• Excellent communication and hospitality skills.
• Discretion, professionalism, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

• Perform light housekeeping and deep cleaning to maintain the home in excellent condition.
• Restock household supplies and manage pantry inventory.
• Assist with seasonal projects such as decor updates and organizational tasks.
• Coordinate with part-time housekeeping staff and oversee external vendors and contractors.

Cooking:

• Prepare meals daily, aligned with household preferences and dietary requirements.
• Bake bread and assist with meal preparation for special events.
• Support hosting needs, providing a welcoming and elevated experience for guests.

Joint Duties:

• Collaborate with other household staff to ensure seamless operation of the residence.
• Keep the home guest-ready at all times, maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

Schedule:

• Full-time, with flexibility based on household needs, including occasional evening or weekend support for events.

Compensation:

• Starting at $95,000 per year, with benefits included.
