One Day per Week | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexible)

 

A warm and respectful couple on the Upper East Side is seeking a professional, detail-oriented part-time Housekeeper to care for their 4,000 sq. ft. primary residence. The role is one day per week, ideally 9am to 5pm on a weekday, with some flexibility in hours.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in private homes, enjoys creating and maintaining a clean, well-organized space, and is looking for a long-term fit. The home has an informal aesthetic with a few delicate pieces and artwork that require gentle care. A friendly senior Labradoodle is part of the household, so being comfortable with occasional light pet care is important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed housekeeping across a 5-bedroom, 8-bathroom condo

  • Tidy and maintain general organization in all living spaces

  • Handle household laundry (washer/dryer in-unit and in basement), including light ironing

  • Use non-toxic cleaning products, preferred products already in place

  • Provide occasional light pet care (feeding, short walk)

  • Occasionally assist with light errands
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties and general home organization 
  • Execute routine and seasonal deep clean projects

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional housekeeping experience in private households

  • Based in NYC and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Speaks English fluently and communicates comfortably via text

  • Highly organized, discreet, and confident while working independently

  • Physically capable of performing housekeeping tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

  • Comfortable with using natural cleaning products and high standards of cleanliness

  • Pet Friendly and willing to support with light pet care

Compensation

  • $40–$48/hour DOE
