Career Nanny for UHNW Family

We are seeking a career nanny to provide exceptional care for three school-aged children for a UHNW family based in New York. The family requires a highly professional, discreet, and flexible nanny with extensive experience working in private households and supporting active, travel-heavy schedules. This role involves regular international travel, significant weekend support, and a focus on safety, engagement, and maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a career nanny in private households, with experience supporting UHNW families
• Exceptional judgment and discretion; capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality
• Creative and engaging, with a talent for organizing activities that encourage development and creativity
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage travel logistics, packing, and child-related housekeeping
• Comfortable with extensive international travel
• Professional, calm under pressure, and capable of adapting to high standards
• Patient, positive, and nurturing, with a focus on fostering a safe and fun environment
• Strong team player, able to work collaboratively with other staff and family members

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care to the children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Collaborate with the weekday nanny to ensure consistent care and support
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, imaginative play, etc.
• Manage all child-related housekeeping tasks, including laundry, ironing, tidying rooms, organizing play areas, and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces
• Pack and unpack for the children during travel, ensuring all essentials are accounted for
• Accompany the family on frequent trips, including monthly vacations and all school breaks
• Ensure smooth transitions during travel, including managing children’s schedules, packing, and adapting to new environments
• Adapt to changing schedules week-to-week while maintaining the children’s consistent routines

Schedule: Wednesday–Friday: 1PM – 9PM, Saturday–Sunday: 8AM – 6PM (*Must be comfortable with overnight weekend care as required)
