Estate Engineering Manager-

A Naples, FL Beach Front Home is seeking a Estate Engineering Manager. The Estate Engineer is responsible for HVAC , electrical, gates, lighting, pools, and regular maintenance of property with direct reports to the Estate Manager and Principals. There would be an in-house training period of  year.

This role combines facilities management and household maintenance tasks.

  • Responsible for maintaining a preventive maintenance program. This includes all heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical as well as maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
  • Perform or oversee repairs or installations of fixtures, appliances, and equipment to meet workmanship and operational performance standards.
  • Available to respond to emergency issues as they arise.
  • Organizing and scheduling maintenance with the estate manager regarding job assignments and projects.
  • Knowledgeable in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, water features (pools, spas, fountains etc.), home automation and lighting control systems.
  • Responsible for HVAC maintenance and repair including chillers, air handlers, pump repair, motor replacement, and water treatment to related equipment.
  • Responsible for plumbing maintenance including garbage disposals, P-traps, general sewer line on property, and faucet repairs.
  • Responsible for generator testing and reporting, as well as vendor coordination with the Estate Manager.
  • Maintain inventory, operation manuals, and stock supplies.
  • Perform miscellaneous household maintenance tasks as needed.

 

High school diploma or GED certificate with vocational or trade school certification required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Five or more years of demonstrated experience in facilities management, construction management, facilities engineering, or similar roles.
  • Knowledgeable in plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality.
  • Experience in installing and repairing appliances.
  • Knowledge of high-end finishes and materials.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 

 

This is a salaried position – includes benefits package, paid time off, and annual performance review.

 

General Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Occasional weekend assistance as needed.

On Call Schedule every other Weekend
