Our client in Noe Valley is seeking a full-time career Nanny to join their childcare team. They have a two-year-old and a newborn. The ideal candidate is fun-loving, highly engaging with children, and possesses extensive long-term experience working with infants and toddlers. The role offers a great schedule of three days a week and requires a dependable, fit, and active candidate who can keep up with an active toddler! Strong communication skills are essential, as family appreciates open communication with their Nannies.
The role involves domestic and international travel, so candidates should be open and flexible to travel, and have a current passport.
The family values a gentle parenting approach, focusing on communication with the children rather than reacting or using timeouts. The home environment is informal but well-organized and efficient, with an emphasis on creating a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children. The hired Nanny should feel comfortable in a stay-at-home parent household.

Schedule:
- Sunday-Tuesday 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
- Organize and track children's schedules, including feeding, bathing, playing, and providing comfort
- Prepare and clean up after children's meals and activities
- Take the oldest to and from activities, including local parks and classes
- Plan and participate in thoughtful, age-appropriate activities with the children
- Assist with diapering, potty training, and maintaining sleep schedules
- Provide soothing and comforting care, especially for infants
- Monitor developmental milestones and adjust care routines accordingly
- Keep children's play areas tidy and organized
- Communicate children's behaviors and align with parents on consistent parenting philosophies
- Support the development of social skills
- Travel with the family when requested
- Occasional and minimal care of family's three friendly dogs
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working with toddlers and infants
- Excellent, verifiable references from previous employers
- Strong communication skills
- Hardworking and dependable
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated
- Pet Friendly!
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Valid Passport
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Knowledge of general first aid and CPR certification
- Must be Trustline certified (or be willing to become certified)
- Must be able to speak English
- Must be willing to sign an NDA and submit to an in-depth background check
- Must be a non-smoker/non-vaper
Compensation and Benefits:
- $40+ per hour, depending on experience (Total annualized compensation $87000 or higher)
