Live-In Housekeeper with Cooking Skills

Overview:

An informal and friendly ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) British family with four teenage children is seeking an experienced and discreet live-in housekeeper to maintain the pristine condition of their 11,000 sq ft Miami Beach private residence. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and professional, ensuring the home is impeccably maintained at all times. General responsibilities include detailed cleaning, light cooking, laundry for the family as well as pet care for their cat and dog. The live-in housekeeper will work closely with the house manager, the groundskeeper, and benefit from the support of two other housekeepers. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform daily deep cleaning and general housekeeping of all rooms and common areas
• Launder, iron, and properly care for fine fabrics, linens, and delicate clothing.
• Organize and maintain the kitchen, wardrobes, closets, and storage areas
• Cooking simple healthy dishes  (breakfast, snacks & dinner)
• Handle delicate items, art piece and high-end furnishings with care
• Knowledgeable in maintaining high end surface material such as natural stone, exotic woods etc…
• Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining high end kitchen & home appliances ( Miele, Gaggenau, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Dyson etc..)
• Ensure all household areas remain guest-ready at all times
• Occasionally assist with serving during formal or informal events
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols
• Report any issues or malfunctions to the house manager in a timely manner
• Pet care to include feeding etc..
• Other requests as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a housekeeper in UHNW households, luxury estates, or luxury boutique hotels
• Strong command of the English language
• Flexible schedule required to include availability for evenings, week ends and holidays depending of the household’s needs
• Experience managing and caring for fine clothing and high-end wardrobe
• Team player working closely with the home manager, the groundskeeper and other housekeepers to ensure seamless operations. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs
• Discretion and professionalism with a high level of confidentiality
• Positive attitude and high energy
• Flexible to travel internationally with the family if required
• Valid passport 
• Pet and children friendly 
• Hold a valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States
• Consent to a background check
• Able to lift 50lbs
