 High-profile family seeks a full-time chef with extensive culinary experience, prioritizing health-focused meal preparation. The ideal candidate will focus on crafting nutritious meals with flavor harmony, delivering exceptional dining experiences tailored to their preferences. Travel is (typically but not limited to) Hamptons in the summer, Montana and NYC as needed.

 Responsibilities:

  • Prepare morning beverages, breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a total of four individuals, including the principals and their family, ensuring the packing of breakfast and lunch as necessary, while also promptly and efficiently accommodating any additional meal requests to meet the family's needs.
  • Prepare meals for approximately eight household staff members, coordinating with each to ensure their nutritional needs are met and meals are prepared accordingly.
  • Stay informed about any food allergies and dietary preferences for both the family and guests.
  • Ensure appealing plate presentation.
  • Arrange meals for airplane and yacht trips, ensuring proper packing and coordinate with flight attendants, stewards, and additional staff members for food plating.
  • Procure all necessary kitchen supplies and maintain food inventory, ensuring stocks are replenished as needed.
  • Monitor food freshness and promptly discard any expired items.
  • Experiment with recipes and propose new ingredients to enhance meal variety.
  • Oversee and maintain the stocked wine program, ensuring its quality and availability.
  • Prepare for cocktail/dinner parties, accommodating large gatherings.
  • Transport meals to principal's necessary locations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
  • Strong proficiency in time management and multitasking.
  • Current knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Weekend work when needed.

 Schedule:

  • Work schedule consists of 4 days on followed by 4 days off.
  • Working hours fluctuate
