We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Household Manager with a background in administrative roles like operations, coordination, marketing, etc… to keep our bustling Austin home running smoothly. Finance experience is a plus, as we value the sharp, meticulous personalities it often brings, but it’s not required—this could be an exciting career pivot!
Your Role:
You’ll be the heartbeat of our home, ensuring everything flows seamlessly. Mornings start with preparing breakfast for our two kids and helping them get to school. Then, you’ll manage the household: overseeing vendors (housekeepers, landscapers, etc.), handling errands, organizing projects, and keeping supplies stocked. You’ll maintain schedules, tackle special projects (e.g., home improvements, travel logistics), and bring warmth and order to our family’s daily life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Home Management: Oversee maintenance, manage vendors, and keep the home tidy, stocked, and organized. Ensure vehicles are maintained and lead seasonal projects.
- Logistics & Planning: Maintain household calendars, coordinate small events (~1x/month), and assist with travel bookings or packing.
- Daily Support: Prepare kids’ breakfast, occasionally cook simple meals, manage light tasks (laundry, mail), and care for plants/pets.
Who You Are:
- Organized, resourceful, and proactive—you spot needs before they arise and solve problems swiftly.
- Experienced in administrative responsibilities
- Comfortable in a kitchen and with kids, blending professionalism with a warm, family-friendly vibe.
- Skilled at juggling tasks, managing vendors, and keeping detailed to-do lists.
Schedule:
- School Year: Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Summer/Holidays: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
