Estate Manager Couple


The Caretaker Couple will be responsible for performing and overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the grounds and house on the property.  They will be expected to take a hands-on approach to this position.  Experience in property management, maintenance and housekeeping is a must. This position will be required to travel with the family at times.




  1. Managing and performing household projects.
  2. Performing general labor and other property related tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, mulching flower beds, cleaning gutters, cleaning windows, performing leaf cleanup, operating and maintaining equipment, cutting and keeping firewood stocked, using the chainsaw to cut limbs, performing property snow removal, minor household repairs etc.
  3. Performing turf and hardscape maintenance in the garden. This includes mowing, fertilizing, weed eating, and blowing of debris.
  4. Maintaining and cleaning the pool and the surrounding pool area.
  5. Arranging service appointments and cleaning the automobiles on the property.
  6. Performing all traditional cleaning tasks around the home including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping scrubbing and polishing, both inside and outside the home as appropriate.
  7. Washing, drying, ironing and simple repair of clothes and linens, including cleaning delicate materials with great care.
  8. Assisting homeowner with the organization of the home including closets, cabinets, and living spaces.
  9. Monitoring cleaning supplies and making sure that the home is always well stocked.
  10. Running errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, purchasing household supplies, etc.
  11. Cooking for the family.
  12. Monitoring the property and other projects the family may have and reporting any issues that are observed.
  13. Responding in a timely manner to any unforeseen issues that occur.
  14. Other duties as required by the family aligned with goals of the position.
