Lovely private family is seeking a year-round Property Manager for their Southampton estates. The property manager will oversee the grounds, maintenance, and systems of two adjacent homes. The ideal candidate has hands on experience in managing and groundskeeping of large private estates.

Responsibilities:

• Daily inspection and walk through of properties to ensure the interior and exterior of homes are running properly
• Overseeing vendors and contractors and scheduling routine and preventative maintenance
• Inspection of exterior: Landscaping, windows of main residence, access points (entry gates), terraces, pool and hot tub area, pool mechanical room, playground area, gym, office, garage, basement/mechanical room, employee areas, tennis court, and vehicles.
• Inspection of interior: cleanliness of rooms, light fixtures, appliances, plumbing fixtures, furniture, railings, carpets, emergency flashlights, outside door locks, pests or insects, flower arrangements
• System Checks: A/V equipment, telephone/internet, security systems, thermostats, hot water heaters and HVAC system, secure doors and windows, and make sure alarm works properly

Qualifications:

• 7 + years of experience working in private homes
• Hands on experience with maintenance and repairs
• Experience managing staff
• Longevity in past roles, excellent references, and ability to pass a background check
• Must reside on Long Island
