Family seeking a highly experienced, full-time, year-round housekeeper. This is a long term position so long tenure in prior positions is important and the ability to commit to a long-term position vital.

 

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, professionalism, discretion, reliability and flexibility. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Fluent English is required.

 

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and attractive appearance of the home.

- Make beds daily and change linens as necessary.

- Family laundry including, washing, folding and wardrobe management / organization (washing, steaming, ironing, special care items)

- Vacuum and clean floors daily, using proper methods for hardwood/tile,rugs.

- Dust furniture, air vents, and light fixtures regularly.

- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and powder rooms regularly.

- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning counters, and appliances.

- Clean the windows, and other surfaces as needed.


- Maintain a list of cleaning and household supplies that require replacement.

- Notify the Principals/Caretaker of any maintenance issues or wear and tear on household items.

- Handle fragile items with extreme care and report any damage immediately.

- Run errands as needed.

- Assist with other household tasks as instructed by the Principals.

- Manage and track household supplies, including inventory, grocery shopping, and any other needs.

- Running errands: Shopping for groceries, supplies, and other items that are needed.

- Ensure the home is organized, well-maintained, and running smoothly.

- Care and maintenance of high-end furnishings and expensive antiques and decor

- Daily Tidying

- Positive thinker, proactive, observant, pleasant, able to work independently

- Team mentality, able to be flexible as needed

 

 

 

Qualifications:

- At least 5+ years of equivalent work experience in private estates or residences.

- Earnest, genuine, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor.

- Ability to work well with others in a professional manner.

- Discreet, calm, and pleasant to be around.

- Comfortable working around dogs

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Poised and polished with a professional mindset.

- Willingness to go above and beyond and anticipate the needs of the family.

- Flexibility to work outside normal hours as needed.

- Superior judgment with confidential materials.

- Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
