Position Summary:
A Palm Beach client is seeking an experienced hospitality or private service professional to oversee interior operations at their primary residence.
You will coordinate with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the residence with the domestic team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a daily walkthrough to ensure family standards and preferences are met.
- Coordinate with various teams – Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Spa
- Communicate maintenance items to the Property Manager with the proper trail for tracking.
- Manage residence inventories and maintaining PAR levels.
- Maintain the House Manual, SOPs and checklists on SharePoint; update and edit as required.
- Manage household staff schedules and duties. Provide ongoing training.
- Communicate family preference updates.
- Set-up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Host and serve meals.
- Coordinate projects, events, and florals.
- Manage wardrobes and packing.
- Assist with driving and errands as requested.
- Some travel to South Florida properties and other domestic properties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a fine home, boutique hotel, or private yacht with excellent verifiable references.
- Must have a strong hospitality/housekeeping background and eye for detail.
- Dynamic and works well under pressure.
- Intuitive professional who anticipates needs.
- Hard-working with demonstrated loyalty and discretion.
- Computer literate, tech-savvy, and experience with Microsoft products.
- Fluent English.
Schedule:
Generally, a 5-day work week with the flexibility for extended hours and additional days when needed. Hours as necessary to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position. Hours/days will vary during family residency months, guest visits, and events.
Compensation:
Compensation of $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience. Benefits include an annual discretionary bonus, medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, sick days, paid holidays, and more.
