A private estate in Southern California is seeking a capable Assistant Estate Manager to support day-to-day operations across multiple properties. This role partners closely with the Estate Manager to ensure seamless coordination of household logistics, vendor management, and team oversight. It offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a long-standing, well-structured household environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Estate Manager in overseeing property operations, vendor visits, and daily logistics
  • Act as point of contact for internal teams and external service providers
  • Manage calendars, maintenance schedules, and household communications
  • Assist with staff coordination, onboarding, and scheduling
  • Oversee purchases, expense tracking, and inventory management
  • Provide logistical and operational support for guest stays, events, and special projects
  • Step in during the Estate Manager’s absence to maintain continuity of operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years in estate management, luxury hospitality, or private household environments
  • Discreet, detail-oriented, and capable of navigating high-trust settings
  • Proficient in administrative tools and systems, with a strong sense of follow-through
  • Calm under pressure with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally between properties
  • Willingness to support occasional off-hours or urgent requests

This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established household team in a role that values discretion, initiative, and long-term alignment. You will report directly to the Estate Manager, with terms commensurate with experience.
