Part-Time Housekeeper in Coral Gables

Location: Coral Gables, FL 33156

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM (30 hours/week)

Overview:
A warm and respectful private household of four is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to care for their Coral Gables residence. The home is approximately 11,000 sq. ft. with six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, though only three are regularly in use. Guest rooms are prepared as needed when visitors are expected.

This is a housekeeping-only role — no driving, errands, or childcare involved. The ideal candidate is discreet, consistent, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-organized home. Reports directly to and works alongside the House Manager. Must be able to work effectively with a small housekeeping and maintenance team. Comfortable supporting others, receiving direction, and collaborating to ensure the home runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and shared living areas

• Seasonal deep cleaning, typically while the family is away during summer travel

• Changing and ironing bed linens; making beds

• Laundry: washing, drying, folding, ironing, and hanging clothing

• Organizing closets, drawers, and cabinets upon request

• Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen

• Cleaning kitchen appliances and surfaces

• Caring for fine materials (wood, marble, silver, etc.)

• Maintaining entryways and patios as needed

• Reporting any maintenance or repair needs

• Preparing guest rooms when needed

• Light pet care (feeding and occasional dog walking — no grooming or vet visits)

Requirements:

• Must genuinely love animals and be comfortable around dogs

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private households

• Clear and effective English communication

• No pet allergies or fear of animals

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Neat, professional appearance

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Physically capable of performing all housekeeping tasks

• Able to work independently and follow direction

• Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful of household privacy

• Professional, discreet demeanor
