We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dog Nanny to join a family in Bedford, New York. You will be responsible for providing attentive care to four dogs- three beagles and one basset mix with ages ranging from 7 to 14 years old.
Responsibilities:
- Caring for the family's four dogs.
- Ensuring all dogs are fed according to their dietary needs.
- Administering medications as prescribed.
- Conducting regular walks and exercise routines.
- Safely transporting dogs to veterinary appointments and other necessary outings.
- Traveling with the family as needed.
- Staying with the dogs at their home when the family is traveling.
- Attending to the needs of each dog.
- Maintaining a calm and controlled environment, especially during activities that may trigger barking,
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in dog training, veterinary care, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Mature mindset with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Capable of handling multiple dogs simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license.
- Comfortable with occasional travel.
Schedule: Part-time (3 days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Salary: OPEN (Additional compensation will be provided for travel and dog-sitting duties during family trips)
