ROTA nanny wanted in Muttontown Long Island- Single dad of two little girls ages 9 and 6 are looking for a rota nanny to work with their family. The ideal candidate has experience with school aged children, drives, swims, can travel internationally and domestically, and help the girls with their homework.
The candidate must possess a strong amount of patience since one of the girls was diagnosed with ADHD and the other child suffers with anxiety, you must be assertive yet kind and loving. Someone with special needs experience would be a huge plus for this role. The candidate will take the girls to play dates, after school activities, museums, day trips to the city, (a nanny car will be provided) limit screen time as much as possible, cook healthy meals for the girls, cleaning and organizing the girls rooms, inventory for the girls for any items that need to be ordered. You will work with the family's assistant and help run errands while girls are in school if needed.
The candidate will have their own bedroom and private bathroom, this is a long term role as well. The dad does prefer on the days the nanny does not have to work that the candidate does have their own space outside of the home to go back to. The schedule is one week is Mondays and Tuesdays(you will arrive on Sunday evening and work those full days and leave Wednesday morning and then on the other week you will arrive Friday and work till Wednesday morning. There is no other nanny to rotate because the kids will go to their moms house on the alternate days. Schedule during the week is 7am to 9am and then 2pm to 8pm, and weekends would be a full day.
Salary is competitive and open, family is willing to consider out of state candidates, medical stipend negotiable, paid holidays offered and if you work a holiday they will pay time and a half, extra pay for travel, and paid vacation offered as well.
