A kind and welcoming family in Hanover, NH is seeking a Proactive and Trustworthy Housekeeper/Family Assistant to help keep their household running smoothly. This position involves the full upkeep of a 3,500 square foot home, including deep cleaning, laundry care (wash, dry, fold, and store), changing bed linens, and kitchen cleanup. The candidate will also manage household organization, restock supplies as needed, and assist with errands and occasional dinner preparation a few times per week. The family is looking for someone who takes initiative and can anticipate household needs, such as managing inventory, staying on top of grocery items, and handling tasks like pre-treating stains independently.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and communicative, with a naturally positive and helpful presence in the home. While direct care of the children is not part of the role, comfort around young children is important. $35-40 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick days, paid holidays; a health stipend is negotiable if needed
Requirements: 3+ years of Housekeeping/Family Assistant experience, a clean criminal record, a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Ideal candidate will be trustworthy, proactive, reliable, a great communicator, and have a supportive and positive presence in the home. Must be comfortable with young children in the home. Family is looking for a long term commitment!
Pets: 1 dog and 1 cat
Driving/Parking: Driver's license required, and having a reliable vehicle for work-related driving is preferred. Mileage will be reimbursed. Parking is available.
