Description

We are partnering with our retained client to find an experienced Estate and Property Manager. Please read ENTIRE posting and apply ONLY if you have the specific direct experience and meet minimum requirements.

 

** LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY**

MAXIMUM COMMUTE OF ONE HOUR TO DOWNTOWN SAN FRANCISCO AND TO COASTAL SAN MATEO PROPERTY. IDEALLY SETTLED IN SF PROPER OR ON THE PENINSULA.

 

The Estate Manager will work directly with the principal and be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Meetings, inspections and management of several local properties and projects
  • General management conducted in a discreet, professional and courteous manner
  • Oversee a small staff of housekeepers and security (hire, train, review)
  • Maintain compliance with all OSHA, public/worker safety requirements, and applicable environmental regulations
  • Project management including engaging and working collaboratively with consultants, engineers and architects
  • Liaise with contractors and external vendors--obtain proposals and estimates
  • Construction management for new construction and remodels
  • Hospitality-- handle arrangements for guests
  • Create a maintenance schedule and household manual for all properties

 

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of property management experience, ideally in high-end residential
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years of successful leadership with staff, contractors and vendors
  • Must have an understanding of contracts, leases and insurance, and have an ability to collaborate with Principal's attorneys, insurers, and financial managers
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand construction/operational specifications is very helpful
  • Tech savvy... comfortable with all Mac devices and creating detailed Excel spreadsheets
  • College degree strongly preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects such as a case of wine as well as work in all types of weather, terrain and indoor and outdoor environments
  • Excellent driving record and comfortable driving own vehicle to the various Bay Area properties on regular basis (mileage reimbursement provided)
