A family in Palm Beach Florida is seeking an experienced, professional, and capable Housekeeper/Laundress/House Assistant full-time for their estate in West Palm Beach, FL. This opportunity requires someone who is available to travel (sometimes at a moments notice) for a short trip or an occasional extended period of time with their family, to support their other residences.
A little bit about you...
- You're an experienced housekeeper with a minimum of 3 years professional experience cleaning and organizing high-end homes or luxury hotels.
- You enjoy working with other housekeepers and household staff
- The people who know you best would describe you as humble, kind, genuine and always willing to lend a hand where needed
- You are exceptionally organized and pay attention to the details (both great and small)
- Evolution is ongoing for you and you're always open to learning new ways of doing things
- You are intuitive and have the ability to anticipate the needs of a family (as you become familiar with them)
- You have experience with laundering, ironing and steaming fine clothing.
- You understand the difference between "Neat/Tidy" and "Clean"
- Creating floral arrangements, table settings, and making a house look like a home puts a smile on your face
- You have prior experience with wardrobe management or would be willing to learn
- You enjoy cooking or you have a genuine desire to learn.
- You are comfortable with travel (at least 30% of the year, mainly domestic)
- No task is too small for you and would happliy assist with other household projects (organizing, purchasing, running errands, etc.)
- Most importantly, you love what you do and have a passion for creating domestic bliss!
