Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Property/Household Manager to work full-time for a private residence in Syracuse, NY. The position’s primary responsibility is to work onsite, managing all maintenance related tasks of a vast, sizable property with multiple buildings. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience working from a private home, with immense organizational skills needed to manage the home and property, along with physical capabilities to roll up sleeves and execute projects when needed. This is a live-out position; candidates looking to relocate will be considered for this role. Must be able to pass a background check, and signing an NDA is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
·      Manage all 25- 30 vendor relationships, overseeing the general maintenance of the residence. Acting as intermediary for all outside vendors and scheduling.
·      Oversee and lead all household employees, managing staff on all things associated with maintenance of the inside and outside of the home
·      Coordinate and supervise daily tasks of the household
·      Delegate job responsibilities appropriately and ensure task completion
·      Take part in daily/weekly meetings with the Principal(s) while acting as their single intermediary and point of contact for all household vendors
·      When time permits, must be open to “rolling up sleeves” and help with other tasks
·      Move and storage of outdoor furniture with season changes
·      Maintain a comprehensive household manual, setting priorities for tasks on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis (e.g., HVAC and other home system maintenance, technology checks)
·      Maintain all household operations, warranty manuals, and household inventories
·       Run errands and perform necessary tasks as requested by the Principal(s) (e.g., picking up prescriptions, etc.)
·       Conducting specialized research and managing special projects, vetting vendors and reviewing agreements of maintenance
·       Demonstrating a proactive and hands-on approach to home upkeep
·       Always maintain the residence for guest readiness and assist with visitors in the home
·       Establish and maintain household organization including organization of the property garage spaces
·       Oversee all vehicle upkeep including registration renewals, inspections, and service
·       Uphold the high standards of the Principals, assuming final responsibility for the home and maintain its orderly operation and meticulous appearance

QUALIFICATIONS:
·      Honest, diligent, responsible, courteous and discreet
·      Flexible attitude and a self-starter
·      Hard working, detail-oriented with strong organization skills
·      Related experience and expertise in a similar position working in a private home
·      Must be a team player, willing to work with other staff daily
·      Confident in being able to take full charge of the principles home by actively coordinating with house cleaning staff
·      Independent thinker willing to anticipate and take ownership on tasks
·      Must be looking for a long-term position
·      Previous full-time/long term experience a must
·      Command of the English language
·      Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: DOE + benefits, PTO, and paid holidays

Schedule: General schedule will be Monday- Friday with flexibility to work at night or on a weekend if an emergency arises.

Location: Syracuse, NY. This is a fully onsite position, M-F (with occasional weekends).
